With the last update, the web-interface changed and is not accessible as before. In particular in the app, it is difficult to get at the settings menu. Furthermore, the "System" item in the settings menu is now locked (closed lock symbol). On the first attempt to unlock, a pop-up password window appeared. "rune" as password did not work, I haven't set another password. Now I'm locked out from the settings because since then I have no possibility unlock. Clicking the lock results in the "rune audio" logo page, nothing more. The same after reboot.

The update process for r6 seemed to work much better then in r5, where something failed with almost every update and required a re-flash. But apparently the last update failed. Or has anybody a solution to the password problem (or observed a similar behaviour)?

Posted and still waiting for a solution

Also, the latest update has put a "padlock" icon besides "System" on the drop down menu. Previously, it has the settings icon. And no, I did not opt for password to access system menu (if there is such a thing.)

Try:
Code: Select all
/srv/http/bash/features.sh logindisable

Hi Rern

I am afraid the code above has no effect on the padlock on Systems / Features. I still get asked for a password when trying to access Features.

Regards.

Next try:
Code: Select all
/srv/http/bash/features.sh logindisable
rm -f /srv/http/data/system/login*

used devices.....raspberry pi 3b, allo isolator v1, kali reclocker, piano 2.1.
kernel: 5.4.77-1-ARCH

By the way, Spotify can be operated normally via the Spotify app, only the rune web interface can no longer be accessed.

one more problem.
as soon as I go through another browser (smartphone) and try to play there, the sound is completely gone and does not return and I am forced to flash the rune img again.

problem solved with the latest update, thanks!

rune interface looks nice on my newly built raspberry pi streamer.

Yes, confirmed the fixes listed above did not work. And also confirmed that the issue was brought on with the latest update as I just did an update on my home Pi3 today.

Update - The fixes worked if I clicked OK on the password dialog. (Initially I just exited the dialog box.) However, once I clicked OK, other options (eg Network, MPD etc did not work. Addons worked.)

Out of interest how did you find this url

One of the ways it can be done..
Using Firefox, right click on the page (after starting it playing) and select View Page Info > Media > and look for type "Audio" while scrolling the various media.

Thanks, this works for me - at least until I click on the padlock again by mistake (by habit, I still try to access the features there due to the change in menu layout). Then I have to call logindisable again.

What password/which user's password is asked here? The easiest solution would be to set this password.

Something went wrong again. I downloaded the latest firmware revision. Again does not receive an ip address from the access point.
