hi Frank.
if you're going down that path, how much harder would it be to include routing (and DHCP) to the wired NIC?

I ask as I use the runeaudio PI as an mp3 player to play canned music in my band.
I currently have a oundcraft UI mixing desk. that's networked (via copper) to an AP. the AP connects to the PI over wifi.
I control both the desk and PI (and sometimes a video camera) over wifi.
if the PI could act as an IP that can route over the ethernet to the desk, I could have my camera and controlling clients connected to the PI via wifi.
