Rpi3 + cd audio player

Hi,

I have a raspberry3 with runeaudio.
I want to connect a CD player in USB to the raspberry, but it's not detect by system.
If i mount /dev/sr0 to /mnt/MPD/LocalStorage, Runeaudio search but don't find.

It's possible to connect an USB CD player ?

Hi 212bashaut ,

it is not that easy to play music directly from a CD-ROM drive (see here).

You have to:
- modify mpd.conf

    plugin  "cdio_paranoia"
}

- install
eject
cdparanioa
cdde
inotify-tools
fuse/gvfs
- find a way to automount the drive
- find a way to add the single wav files
- .....
