First,
In the past I used to have connectivity drops ( which I describe as Rune being non resposive through the web UI, external mpd client (e.g. Mpdroid) and Runeaudio android application). Since I used to have a modified version of Rune I wasn't able to get support for it.
Then I moved to the regular version (with the "formal" AP tweaks
) , but yet I keep getting those drops very often. They happen usually when attempting to start a play after some time of system being idle. The UI / Mpdroid screen loads, but after pressing the play button it starts to hang, and become unreachable upon reloading (of the web UI, not the Rpi).
All this time ssh connectivity I OK, so I can log in, also NaTed internet is fully available through the Rune access point.
So I ssh-ed and checked the journalcatl -f and got a line saying "SYN flooding ..." ( I don't have the full log right know).
Things are setting up fine when either rebooting the Rpi or somethings waiting an undefined period.
Second,
I also get audio suttering and and clipping - both on mp3 or flac/ape files. This is totally random (but not as often as the connectivity drops). Setting the buffers to larger values doesn't resolve this.
