Can I stream Tidal on Runeaudio?

Postby cranaing » 05 Feb 2020, 17:30

I'd like to stream Tidal to my living room amplifier. Would I be able to to that with Runeaudio?

I wasn't able to yield any answer while searching.

Thanks

Thanks, professor. Let me know if you find anything recent/useful in these; I didn't when I searched.

Maybe you could download Tidal music, then import Tidal music to Runeaudio for playing. TunesKit Audio Capture could help you capture music from Tidal to plain audio formats, and you need to worry about that you cannot listen to Tidal music on Runeaudio.

I use BubbleUPnP for Android with my Qobuz account and use RuneAudio as a DLNA render device.
It works extremely well.
BubbleUPnP also has Tidal support, which I have never tried since I do not have a Tidal account, but I have no reason to believe it should not work as well.

I can seriously recommend a try.

Thanks for your answer. Do you get meta data of the songs that are playing? I use Tidal with BubbleUpNP but only see the song name, not the artist nor the cover.
