Why do my kbps change when I change volume?

Hi jonas18z,

the song you have played in your demo has variable bit rate (VBR).
RuneAudio depends on the data delivered from MPD (music player daemon)
and only updates its UI if mpd fires an event for this.

If you change volume then mpd tells rune to update the data on the UI,
so also the current bitrate.

We have to find a better solution for this.

That's also the reason behind the value "0 kbps" displayed at the beginning of tracks starting with silence, and has been discussed multiple times on the forum. The solution is to calculate the average bitrate, and this is something we already have on our roadmap.
