I tried it and it seems that the refresh of the UI now works .
What does not work yet is the hardware volume that remains stuck at 100 .
However, thanks to the continuous changes and improvements to the program.

That's because of your specific hardware (ODAC, right) not being indexed in the right way from the system. We'll try to fix that too as soon as possible.

Hi ACX, I had everything working reasonably well until this evening's gitpull, but after briefly enabling the hardware mixer then disabling it again the sound has completely disappeared. I've checked "alsamixer" and "mpc outputs" in a ssh session and both seem fine. I am running an external USB DAC (Epiphany Acoustics). Also, the MPD spinning wheel has returned. Any suggestions? Pastebin attached.

It is a Beresford DAC2 HGC.
But don't worry, about the usb with Raspberry, I will install a Hifiberry DIGI+ on it. I Think it is easier.
My aim is to compare at least the Rasperry with Digi+ and the Udoo with USB (when available), and take the best of the two.

I am having issues with streaming some local radios. My local radios are available via a tvheadend server https://tvheadend.org/ which is on my local network (raspbmc with tvheadend configured). When i play them they look like to buffer for few sec and being released very fast making them scratchy like if you were scratching an old vinyl disk.

I wonder if i have to buy the mpeg2 codec as it is the format use to broadcast the radio. I have past experience with that and normally without the codec purchased, the sound should be played but the picture should be absent. As it is a radio stream i shoud not have to buy the codec and i do not think it is related to this but i can be proven wrong.

As a note, this was working on a different music platform for the pi without the codecs.

First I'd like to thank for Runeaudio, making out of my dumb stereo a "smart stereo"

Happy to give some feedback: I'm running Runeaudio on a Pi+ with HifiBerry DAC+ with latest git-updates (and HW Volume if this does matter).
It seems issue nr 10 ist not yet solved for me. Im running Cyanogenmod Stock Browser (based on chrome 33) on my Android Phone and at first render the volume knob is still displayed at a value of 100. After resize (or change to Library/Queue-Tab and back or volume change) it is displayed correctly at 90...

The circle and the number of the volume knob are now displayed as they should (they were not before the update).

A second issue i noticed some time ago: when listening to webradio, in Firefox (mobile and desktop version) there is a picture with a microphone displayed as cover art, at my phone stock Browser just the Rune-logo. Is this a bug or some kind of limitation of the chrome-based browser?

I hadn't touched any of the features that you listed in the latest commits, so I'm wondering what's happening in your setup. Did you also clear the browser's cache?

Yeah, I did. Just cleared the cache once again, still nothing. Will try it with Google chrome on my phone tomorrow.

I never noticed that before... I just checked and it seems to happen only on Chrome (both desktop and mobile versions). I'm going to open a issue for it, thank you for pointing it!

I tried today with Google Chrome 39 on my Android phone (had to install it first), and guess what: it worked... Seems to be related to AOSP-Browser or the Chrome 33 base of it. It's no show-stopper and maybe the CM-Team will update the Browser to a newer base and the problem will be solved by itself (but the future of the AOSP-Browser is not to clear).

The non-stopping spinning "Connecting"... Apparently it's a wifi-issue.
I was having RJ45 plugged in my raspi and it worked just fine. The moment I booted up with only wlan connected (which doesn't work automatically after boot, need to run 'systemctl enable netctl-auto@wlan0.service') the Connecting keeps on showing. The Library shows songs but when I add them, the Queue is empty. And so is the Playback. Controls in the Playback also don't work.

Hi i did the last update but after the update cannot do anything

spinning arrows keep spinning:-(

into dev mode i reset everything still no better:-(

If i want to reboot it says

The loading layer (spinning arrows) points to a socket error

But does not reboot

After hard reboot i get the same problems, i am afraid something whent wrong with the update (never had problems before with the spinning arrows like this)

I can only enter the dev page cannot enter any of the other pages, in safari the dev page it keeps giving met the message repeatedly after 3 seconds

I use a Raspberry B with iqaudio pi-dac, cabled network (ethernet) and NAS as music source no wifi

I've just started having a weird problem where the interface will continually have spinning connecting arrows, but I can see in the background that the layer is stuck on Airplay.
If I go to the dev page and restart stuff, I can see that it is on MPD and then quickly switches back to Airplay.
If I hit Reboot from the dev page, I get a warning "The loading layer (spinning arrows) points to a socket error".

have you tried to refresh your browsers cache ( Ctrl-F5 )?

I can confirm this effect: When using Airplay, the spinning arrows are always on (with FF and IE on Win7, Chrome on Android 5). Refreshing browser cache doesn't change anything.
