copy files to usb disk from windows explorer

Postby giovilux » 30 Sep 2017, 16:47

Hi,
I can see rune in the network folder, if I select it I can navigate to the usb attached disk with all the information, but if I try to copy files to it it says "... not enough space on music store. You need additional xxxx mb to copy these files".
Obviously the disk is plenty of space.

Is there a way to solve it?

Thanks
Giovanni

Hi Giovanni,

this is a known issue and is not related to RuneAudio.
Samba used for filesharing reports the free space from the root folder.
This is because your USB disk gets mounted on /mnt/MPD/USB/ and that is on your sd card.

- Go to your file explorer and right click on "Network" and then on "Map Network Drive".
- Type in your PIs IP address or try "\\RuneAudio\"
- Click on "Browse" and search for your USB storage device. (You have to connect to it not to the underlying folder /USB.
- Click apply
