Kernal Panic with MP3 files

Hello, noob here with a strange problem.

I have a problem when I try to play mp3 files through a USB DAC, the Odroid C1+ locks up with Kernal Panic and I have to power cycle it.

I have tried 3 different DAC's - Weiliang DAC 5 with Tenor TE7022usb, Hifimediy Sabre dac and Audio GD NB15 and they all do the same.
FLAC files play perfectly fine and playing through HDMI is ok. I also tried another dac with cm108 receiver and was ok.

I tried Volumio and it did the same, there is a fix in there forums to add:

options snd-usb-audio nrpacks=1

This fix doesn't work in Runeaudio and I would prefer to use it over Volumio. Any help would be much apreciated.

Thanks for the reply Frank, I'm really going to need my hand held with this. I'm afraid I don't understand what you are asking.

In Volumio I entered the following and then it worked:

sudo echo 'options snd-usb-audio nrpacks=1' >> /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf

This does not work in Rune, I'm not sure what to do next???
