Early 90s RuneAudio Computerized Audio System

Man, RuneAudio came a long way. I just realized that after dusting off my 1992 "RuneAudio Computerized Audio System". I bought it back in the Days, after seeing this Add in one of the Hifi Magazines:

Ok, I build it.

After rescuing an old 9", monochrome CRT from the trash, I wanted to build a fitting Case in an early-90s tech-styl, in which the DAC, vga-converter, HDD and Raspberry pi went. So beige was the color of choice.
After some fiddeling I managed to cram everything inside, and put all the ports and leds i wanted through fitting holes I drilled into the case.
Finally everything got branded by making some custom bootscreens & ui-graphics fitting the overall aesthetics, and also labeling the case with a custom retro-rune logo. :)

Here are some Impressions:

Decals, decals, like stickers... a good job though. Good use of the monitor, the case... I love to SEE inside the case, underneath the monitor... one waits with baited breath for that view....

Thanks a lot guys. :) For the labeling of the Case I used "Printable Clear Gloss Sticker Paper", which i printed on with my laser printer. The Copper-stripe is done by using Copper-self adhesive tape, which has been rubbed thoroughly with a dry cloth after application, to make its surface smooth and shiny. I also used that tape on the rubber feet.

Here are some shots from the inside. Some parts are placed kinda crooked to reduce stress on the cables, but I guess thats okay, as long as it sits solid in the case. :D
