Checked the ruineui.js file, seems fine...

EDIT:

Think I found the problem: folders not showing up have a .m3u file in them.

I had that thought too, but removing the m3u file doesn't allow the folder to show properly. I will have to check again after work, but I believe my console showed a similar message.

Hi,
So i tried this and no change, still see only the folders not the files.
With my Ubuntu machine i can't change permission so i switch with Windows and after the change still no improvement...
I really don't know why for everyone else this kind of set up works... :/

Have you tried adjusting the security settings? (Right click the shared folder > Properties > Security)

I can confirm that I have this error appearing as well and line 890 of the file looks fine here too.

Yep already, and i double check this morning, still nothing...
The thing I don't understand is why it's working out of the box with Raspbmc and with RuneUI i need to change so many things (for no result...) ? except the fact that one is debian-based, and the other one Arch....

EDIT: nevermind, I already found and fixed the bug. Thank you Beelzebassie for the .m3u hint, that was the culprit.
I'm going to commit this to GitHub as soon as possible.

Yes this seems to have worked, I can see all my folders, cue sheets are visible and are able to be loaded into the queue and played.
Its still not listing the track names if you restore a playlist, as mentioned here #555 , I dont know if you were trying to address that yet.

Dont know if anyone else has this problem, but when I play radio stations from the Dirble folder they dont always load until a reboot and then they only run for about a 2-3 minute period before the entire system hangs and has to be power cycled to get audio anything working again.

The non-stopping spinning "Connecting" issue is still bothering me, even after 'git pull' I did moment ago. This keeps happening to me with all Browsers / Devices I use to connect my Raspi. Even with the Runeaudio -program.

sorry if we can't solve your problem quickly but we need time to investigate it.
In the meantime, this is a dirty workaround that will not solve the problem (MPD will be still hanging in the background) but it will not show the "connecting..." layer anymore, letting you troubleshoot this better.

Replace this line in /var/www/app/templates/footer.php

and then clear the PHP cache from this url:
