Can i make the playback controls larger as sometimes they work sometimes they dont , i read earlier in this thread about changing some css but using scp i cam log in but cannot find the stated file path
Yes you can, you have to edit the file "/root/.local/share/midori/styles/local-styles.css"
The folder "/root/.local" is hidden (the dot in front of the name), maybe this is your issue.
If you are working on a Windows PC, i would recommend to use
WinSCP to connect to your Pi.
I use
Notepad++ as editor to remotely modify files on the Pi.
also when i first boot the Rpi it gets to the login screen and sits there , at first i thought it had locked up but after around five mins it loads the player screen and all works fine, is there a reason for this start delay and can it be shortened automatically
The image also works on the new RP3, so i enabled wifi by default.
If you do not use a wifi adapter it takes some time until Rune times out searching for access points.
You can shorten this by disabling wifi (execute this in console):
systemctl disable netctl-auto@wlan0
do i use FLAC or some other format?
My tip:
- for lossless files use .flac (You can tag and embed cover art)
- for lossy files use .mp3
