Using LCDProc and MPDLCD in RuneAudio

Hey All

Has anyone tried using LCDProc and MPDLCD in RuneAudio?

I tried following a guide that I used to install the above 2 in Volumio but got stuck at the bit where I needed to install a compiler as the commands I presume for arch-Linux are different and I am a bit of a Linux noob!

you can try:

BTW:
looking for conflicting packages...

means that lcdproc is already installed!

Hi,

the following steps did the job for me.

RASPBERRY PI (MODEL A/A+/B/B+) with release v0.3-beta (29/10/2014) + HD44780 16x2 Display

Install lcdproc

pacman -Sy
pacman -S lcdproc


Copy the attached driver from this thread

cp hd44780.so /usr/lib/lcdproc/hd44780.so


Automatically start lcdproc @ reboot

systemctl enable lcdd.service


Install python2-mpd

pacman-db-upgrade
pacman -S python2-mpd


There ist a SSL-problem with pip, so I installed the libaries by hand
