Search by Album and Artist and Alphabetical scroll

It would be good if the search could return results filtered by Artist and Album rather than just returning a list of songs.

So If i search for "Master of Puppets" I get the Album returned as a result as well as all the songs on the album. Same goes with Artist....if I search for Metallica I'd like to see a list of the all the Metallica albums not ALL the songs on ALL the albums as it does at the moment.

Search is necessary because there is no way to access a very long list of albums alphabetically, as you have to keep scrolling until you get to the right letter. I know this is effectively a web app but is that possible, to access a point in the library via the alphabet?

My vote for this feature request.
Especially a scrollbar with shortcut access by starting letter would be great.
Scrolling to an artist in ~2000 others is a little exhausting.

IMHO, although it shows its age now, the Squeezebox webUI was an excellent implementation of artist/album/track hierachical browse and search. If you search, you get results for matching artists, then albums, then tracks, and everywhere in the UI that an attribute is listed, it is a link which takes you to a relevant list, for example, clicking on the link for an artist takes you to a page of their albums, clicking on an album takes you to a list of tracks in that album.
