Hello! Is it possible to install 0.4 beta version above 0.3 beta without removal old one and with keeping previous settings? Thanks.

Hi,

it is not possible to use more than one wifi at the moment, so you should disable the onboard wifi first.

Thanks :).
I have a question: when using AP (wifi on board), I must have to attach the cable to the LAN port?

This may be a dumb question, but...........

If I select an I2S kernel module (for example HiFiBerry Digi/Digi+), and then reboot, should it list in the MPD 'Audio Output Interface', even if the board (+Digi+ Pro) is faulty or disconnected?

I ask because it was all working OK until a day ago when I took my setup apart to implement some power supply changes. I powered up and now I have no output from the digi+. (I have USB output from the Pi and this works OK in my DAC, so the Pi is OK)

I have downloaded the latest rune 0.4 beta image from Franks Google Drive today and reloaded my SD card, but although I have tried selecting the Digi in the I2s Settings, it doesn't list in MPD output interface dropdown. it is not clear to me if perhaps I have busted my digi+ so it does not list.....or if there is some setting I am missing.

Hi Kilgore,

If I select an I2S kernel module (for example HiFiBerry Digi/Digi+), and then reboot, should it list in the MPD 'Audio Output Interface', even if the board (+Digi+ Pro) is faulty or disconnected?

This depends on the selected driver!
The HifiBerry Digi/Digi+ needs to be attached and recognized by the driver to show up on the mpd outputs.

Do you see the Digi if you ssh in and type:

Code: Select all
aplay -l

If the module is loaded and the hardware working, it will show up there- if it doesn't, then that's where to start looking. If you can't see the module loaded when you type:

Code: Select all
lsmod | grep hifiberry

..that might be relevant too.

No, you don't!

But if you like to play music from network storage you need a separate network connection (ethernet).

You can use wlan0 and wlan1 together, but it can not be configured from Rune UI.
Manual configuration shouldn't be hard,
