Rune with LCD cape support?

Hi,
I have ordered the BBB and am hoping to use it with Rune audio and will be designing my own DAC cape for it.
I understand you can control Rune using PC/Laptop/Smartphone etc, but I am wondering if it is possible to also to control it via the LCD cape?
That way I can have a stand alone unit when other devices are in use?

As I wrote, it's possible but only with a simlified and custom UI that has to be developed for the purpose.

Anyway, this is what I wrote:

Of course it's possible, but having a touch LCD screen means to develop another custom UI (simplified to the bone), because RuneUI only runs on a web browser.
Anyway it's an interesting project, and we can offer support to anybody wants to do that.
