No Playlists (RuneAudio 0.6-beta on RPi 3B)

Postby phil10503 » 24 Jan 2024, 16:29

I'm running the 64bit version of RuneAudio 0.6-beta (20231210_runeaudio_rpi64_b.img.xz) on a RPi 3B and Everything works GREAT except for playlists. I made a queue and saved it as a playlist (verified that it is saved in "/var/lib/mpd/playlists") but it won't show up. Runeaudio says: "No playlists found, return to queue"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Phil

Hey Phil,

There might be a compatibility issue between RuneAudio 0.6-beta and playlist functionality on Raspberry Pi 3B. While RuneAudio itself seems to be working fine, playlist recognition could be a glitch.

Here are a couple of things to try:

Check Playlist Permissions:

Make sure the playlist file you created (located in "/var/lib/mpd/playlists") has read permissions for the user running RuneAudio. You can use the chmod command in SSH to adjust permissions if needed.
Try a Different Playlist Format:

RuneAudio might have specific playlist format requirements. Check the RuneAudio documentation or forums to see if there are any recommendations for playlist file formats (e.g., M3U, PLS).
Consider Alternative Beta Version:

If the above solutions don't work, you could try a different beta version of RuneAudio (if available). Sometimes bug fixes are addressed between beta releases.
