Linux launcher how to?

Postby EvilOverlord » 27 Aug 2015, 18:54

I just switched to Linux Mint Cinnamon 17.2
I'm trying to create some sort of launcher/icon/button that will launch the RuneAudio interface; ideally something I can add to Docky. I'm sure this is straightforward, but I haven't worked it out yet.

You could use Nuvola Player https://tiliado.eu/nuvolaplayer/ with my service integration https://github.com/Tar-Dingens/nuvola-app-runeaudio. It also supports multimedia keys and MPRIS.

With Chromium, I believe you can easily create shortcuts to a particular URL on the desktop. Same with Firefox, if I remember correctly
