Hifiberry Dac + Pro and Runeaudio?

Hi all, I recently installed the 0.4 Beta release of Rune Audio and love it..thank you!!...I have a Hifiberry Dac+ pro on the way and want to use it with Rune...is this compatible? Can I just connect it and run rune or do I need to change stuff inside Pi3? I'm really new to this stuff and hopefully I'm making sense..

Hi Larry,

you should try this version.
It is easier to setup and has a more recent kernel with better support for the Hifiberry DAC + (pro)

Frank, Yes, I mentioned I'm currently using the version you linked...But I'm curious to know if my Hifiberry just connects to the Pi3 and then everything works or do I need special drivers mand stuff to make it work etc etc...

Hi Larry,

from my link:

Go to the settings page, select the Hifiberry DAC+ , save and reboot.
Nothing more to do.

Nice...Thanks Frank!..now to fins a decent PSU for the DAC so Ill have premium sound.
