Thank you, that removed the bad source.
Here were the parameters of that source for debugging purposes:
Source name: Test
Fileshare protocol: SMB/CIFS
IP Address: 192.168.1.103
Remote Directory Name: tumult/tumultd/Downloads
I was setting this source up just to review my setup with someone on the phone doing a new setup. I did this just so I could follow along with what he was doing. The directory was/is inaccessible as it was on a Windows machine --- named 'tumult' --- and not available without a proper logon-id. I saved it thinking that I could just delete it after I was finished helping my friend.
I have tried to edit the mount to point it to the same remote source as my music files.
that source is a removable drive connected to my router's USB ports.
It works just fine. But I cannot edit the Test source because any changes I make are discarded when I press the save button.
hondagx35 wroteHi littlebone,
try this:
- go to the Sources section
- click on the mount you want to remove
- get the number from the URL
- go to the command line (SSH) and execute this command:
redis-cli del mount_4
Now the mount should be gone.
It would be great to get more info for debugging purposes.
- Source name
- Fileshare protocol
- IP address
- Remote directory name
