Ok, here we go. Here's an image of my RuneAudio Installation with XServer
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/52313765/RuneAudio_rpi2_0.rar
This is what i did:
First make a backup of your ICU files:
mkdir ~/libicu.old
cp /usr/lib/libicu* ~/libicu.old
Then make a full system update:
pacman -Syu
Now follow all my steps from the first post. RuneAudio won't work any after this.
To get it working again do the following:
Edit the file /usr/lib/systemd/system/redis.service like this (thank you JB314):
[Unit]
Description=Advanced key-value store
After=network.target
[Service]
#Type=forking
User=redis
PIDFile=/run/redis/redis.pid
ExecStartPre=/bin/mkdir -p /var/lib/redis
ExecStart=/usr/bin/redis-server /etc/redis.conf
ExecStop=/usr/bin/redis-cli shutdown
Restart=always
[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target
Because ICU was updated RuneAudio won't have the libicu*54.1 files it seems to need to run.
So let's make a backup of the new ICU files:
mkdir ~/libicu.new
cp /usr/lib/libicu* ~/libicu.new
Now we can copy our backup files back:
cp ~/libicu.old/* /usr/lib
But now midori won't work any longer

So we copy the new files back again:
cp ~/libicu.new/* /usr/lib
Now there are all updated ICU (55.1) files and also the old (54.1) files in /urs/lib
Both, Midori and RuneAudio will work now! Thank you anfuca!
But at this point we have to start the xserver manually, which is not nice, so let's change this!
We need a programm called Slim:
pacman -S slim
systemctl enable slim
Edit the settings file etc/slim.conf
sessiondir /usr/share/xsessions/ ---> #sessiondir /usr/share/xsessions/
default_user root
auto_login yes
Please edit the File, DO NOT just place the code above and remove anything else
We need to create another file:
~/.xinitrc
#!/bin/sh
#
# ~/.xinitrc
#
# Executed by startx (run your window manager from here)
dbus-launch --auto-syntax --exit-with-session
exec startxfce4
Now the xserver starts automatically.
I've also created a script which launches midori in fullscreen after some time:
~/run_midori.sh
#!/bin/bash
sleep 90
midori -e Fullscreen
exit 0
Make the script execureable:
chmod +x ~/run_midori.sh
Use the XFCE Settings and put this script into the autostart.
Application -> Settings -> Settings Manager -> Session & Startup -> Application Autostart -> Select the run_midori.sh script
I've also made some tweaks in the XFCE Settings:
Turn of Power Saving, so the screen will stay always on
Application -> Settings -> Settings Manager -> Power Manager -> Display -> Uncheck Handle display Power. Set Blank Display to never
As you have noticed i have to wait 90! Seconds to start midori.
After updating the System with Pacman -Syu the Network sadly needs quite a lot time to be ready for some reason (even without xserver running, even ssh is not possible at this time)
But i needed to update the whole system to be able to download all packages (see my previous post).
Here is what it will look like:
If you have a touchscreen and need to calibrate it, take a look at xinput_calibrator
pacman -S xinput_calibrator
