Cannot connect my external USB dac (Chord Qute Ex)

Hi All,

I am new to this forum and have searched a similar problem but cannot find one so I decide to post this to be able to get some help.
I have a rpi-3 with rune audio setup but cannot see a USB as an option in the Audio out, I can only see HDMI and Audio jack, was trying to connect my Chord Qute Ex with no success at all. Audio can be output from HDMI using my TV as a monitor.
Please help.

post your debug data with the DAC plugged in.

your DAC is recognized by the kernel, but not as USB audio device.

[  235.772574] usb 1-1.2: new high-speed USB device number 4 using dwc_otg
[  235.872891] usb 1-1.2: New USB device found, idVendor=245f, idProduct=0813
[  235.872904] usb 1-1.2: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0
[  235.872910] usb 1-1.2: Product: Chord USB 44.1Khz-384Khz
[  235.872916] usb 1-1.2: Manufacturer: Chord Async USB 44.1Khz-384Khz
[  235.873181] usb 1-1.2: config 0 descriptor??

You can try my latest test image for RP2/3.
It has a more recent kernel that may help to get it working.

Or install the addons from user rern and update the kernel and / or mpd.
