Hi!
I'm experiencing a problem with my USB-sound card (fairly old Terratec Aureon Dual USB):
After each reboot the relvant entry in /etc/mpd.conf looks like
audio_output {
name "USB Device 0xccd:0x77"
type "alsa"
device "hw:1,"
auto_resample "no"
auto_format "no"
enabled "yes"
}
(Notice the missing digit in line "device".)
RuneAudio won't play any sounds with that mpd.conf.
After changing that to
audio_output {
name "USB Device 0xccd:0x77"
type "alsa"
device "hw:1,0"
auto_resample "no"
auto_format "no"
enabled "yes"
}
and restarting the mpd-service, RuneAudio sounds great.
(I also did the changes in /var/www/app/config/_os/etc/mpd.conf to keep it for the next reboot.)
I guess that's becaus the USB soundcard takes too much time to initialize - but why (or by "what") is mpd.conf changed?
Is there a way to spend some more time during bootup, giving the soundcard more time to initialize?
