Hello,
Only discovered Rune audio a weeks ago and really enjoyed it so far especially now the pages don't get stuck loading anymore. Thanks to the team for all their hard work. Whilst I can't say I am an expert and don't know how far I will get as I am new to Arch I thought I would have a go and see if I could stream music from my phone over Bluetooth so that when my friends come over they can just connect. I know this is not on the current road map for the project but thought I would give it a go.
To do this it seams, correct me if I am wrong, that you need to install pulse audio which in turn needs tdb which is where my problem is. I get the following error when I try and install it.
[root@runeaudio ~]# pacman -S tdb

So after a quick google I found this bug
https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/11616
And I checked and the version of samba is 2.2.12 on my Rune install
When I try to update samba I get this message
[root@runeaudio ~]# pacman -S samba
resolving dependencies...
looking for inter-conflicts...
:: samba and samba-rune are in conflict. Remove samba-rune? [y/N] N
error: unresolvable package conflicts detected
error: failed to prepare transaction (conflicting dependencies)
:: samba and samba-rune are in conflict
The version of samba listed here
http://mirror.archlinuxarm.org/arm/extra/ is 4.1.13-1 . What would be the consequences of updating samba to the one on the mirror and not sticking with Samba-rune? Also why such an old version of samba is being use?
Thanks in advance
