Hi all,

I have moved though linux audio hifi systems quite a bit and i always seem to come back to MPD. i have landed here with Rune and i think i'll be staying a while.

There's one thing though. I used XBMC for a couple of years and my favourite thing was the "Recently Added" feature.
With large and growing music collections, it is easy to get lost in your own tastes. I think being able to sort music by the time that it was added changes a lot for me.

I go through various habits and genres with my music listening. Ideally i would like to be able to add a bunch of albums and know what was the latest addition.

I have looked around for this and some people have done it with playlists and bash scripts. https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=74780

If there's anyone who could built this in or around Rune, that would be awesome.

I also REALLY want this. I installed Rune to replace my Squeezbox/Daphile server but this feature lack makes me think of switching back.
