RuneAudio 0.3-beta for Raspberry Pi

I had trouble at 24/192....and after talking to Gordon at IQaudIO I decided to stick with a cable.

Could be my access point as well, but it and my Synology NAS are plugged into the same Gb switch AND it's a dedicated access point separate from the rest of my family. So I'd think it wouldn't be very latent at all.

That might be nice to have, a list of wi-fi adapters and APs/routers that worked with 24/192 files (which is as much as you're going to stretch a Pi).

I manage to make WiFi work this morning! (one great victory ^^)
But... My share folder still won't show-up on runeaudio (but it shows-up on anything else, computer,etc...)
Tried to change MDP to "root:root", no change.

Hi! Another big (in my opinion) trouble - it's fixed IP option. It dont work! After I set fix IP, I can't see Rasp in network (and in the router clients too), and I need only make a new SD with RuneAudio for repair it.
DHCP is no good for any MPD-client (like MPDroid), becouse it need to know exact IP-adress.

I solved that at the rooter by dedicating the PI a ip address .

But the IP adrees of Rasp change any time, when I reboot it! What adress I need to set in router?

That will be up to you valery. You can make it the same IP you were planning to when you tried to set the static IP.
Most routers allow assigning the MAC address of the network devices on a local network to a dedicated IP on that local network. Click around your router settings to make sure your router's firmware allows that. If it does, find the MAC address of your network card and then assign that MAC address any valid IP in your LAN.

I've experienced two issues.
1) I can ssh into Rune, but sudo shutdown -r now does't work. "Command not found".
Others are obviously succeeding with ssh, so is the solution already available somewhere?
2) AirPlay from YouTube to Rune, worked well, but caused the Rune UI to freeze (circling arrows), but MPaD continues to work. Because of 1) above I will have to turn the Pi off and on again at the mains and hope the SD card doesn't get corrupted. It didn't last time.

With ssh you are already root, so try:

shutdown now -h

That seems to have worked. Is there a reboot version?

I'm having to reflash the card after the earlier switch off at the mains. I can ssh in from the Mac, but the Rune UI is not connecting and nor is MPaD.

Hi again. The mpd database "auto update". I am setting this to yes but when I add music and folders to my music library. No "auto update" is catching this. Need to do a manual update.

I been here before, have try 0.3 when it was at test mode but it didn't work for me...

now I have installed 0.3beta and it look nice, but ;
- I'm useing rPi with Najda DSP over I2S output
- I have problem to have only mono via I2S and Rune 0.3
- i have had sime problem with ''volumio'' the solution was to set I2S output from ''volumio'' to 32bit / 44.1 or 48kHz
(I set under "playback" - " resampling " to 32bit/44.1khz)

is there some way to set that on Rune ?

I think that the very usefull option for new RunAudio wil be a not only "Power Off", but "Power On" function trough MPDroid, sound@home or any other MPD client. It will be great!

So hows the UI supposed to be up for you to select power on if the power is off?!?!?!

Not really possible...a Wake on Lan solution may be doable I suppose....

ACX or anyone that knows, I want to mess with the Interpolators as I assume with no setting in mpd.conf that means its using the default of Fastest and I would like to try Best. Unfortunately, my hand edits keep getting overwritten during a reboot. I think that is coming from redis but not sure.

How can I keep my edits from getting stepped on?
