just can't get rune to boot

Hi all,

I'm very new to RPI and rune, but do have several units running without issues with other loads, so I'm fairly confidant this is not a format or image issue.
I downloaded the 0.4 image from the google drive as posted here, used 7zip and created the image on 2 different cards, and tried booting from two different RPI3 units, nothing, no rainbow splash, just nothing.
red light is on and constant, green initially comes on and stays a few seconds, then just sits and blinks every few seconds.
tried downloading again, same thing.
I'm pretty sure this is a "me" issue, but for the life of me I can't figure this out, help please

Hi vapochilled,

nothing, no rainbow splash, just nothing.

The rainbow and all other console output is disabled.
RuneAudio is mainly a "headless" audio player.
You should see the Rune boot screen instead.
If not, maybe your monitor is not able to display the image, because it is optimized for a 7" tft.

Use your smartphone or tablet (if available) and check for the RuneAudio access point.
Or use a ethernet cable and try to connect from your PC (browser).
