Where does it change spotify-mpd? (Solved)

Was searching around but could not figure it out. I want to rename MPD to Player so if it switches it will go to player, i renamed it in playback.php but it gets overwritten by some JS which i cant find.

Where abouts does it change the text?

I noticed in JS there is code:

$('#overlay-playsource-open button').text

which leads to the activePlayer

var activePlayer = GUI.libraryhome.ActivePlayer;

Where does the GUI pull that? Im not sure if im on the right boat or not xD

HI,

the attribute activePlayer comes from the backend (server).
It can not be changed, because it is used in many places.

What you can try is:

// update the playback source
function setPlaybackSource() {
    var activePlayer = GUI.libraryhome.ActivePlayer;
    // update the playback section
    if (activePlayer === "MPD") {
        $('#overlay-playsource-open button').text("xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx");
    }
    else {
        $('#overlay-playsource-open button').text(activePlayer);
    }
    $('#overlay-playsource a').addClass('inactive');
    var source = activePlayer.toLowerCase();
    $('#playsource-' + source).removeClass('inactive');
// update volume knob and control buttons
