You are right about the self made point i literally just came here to update the post but the issue is STILL present.
I set it back to how it originally was but now i will need to go a different approach to the whole bring you home everytime.
Anyway, to recreate the issue.
If you have two device. One on library and lets say you are in the localstorage part searching for tracks "".. Now, the second device needs to just load the playback.php file aka (lets say you went to settings page and clicked the library button from there) The first device that was searching in localstorage now gets kicked back out to the main screen.
Conclusion:
My issue i noticed was whenever i clicked the library tab but was my own fault as i had a listener to listener if its clicked (library tab) then run:
location.assign("/#panel-sx");
location.reload();
And since its reloading the page its the same as reloading playback.php .. Same as going into settings and hitting library tab from there.
Anyway, the issue seems to be whenever playback.php gets loaded. Is this the same with you Frank? I removed the reload and assign code for now and put it back to the way it was and that now works again but again, the issue still persists if a device loads the page
