This might not be the correct area but i decided i will keep the site ticking yet again with more of my questions / issues xD
I am making an ad generator but i need to access another users crontab area to schedule the tasks and i cant use the user http seeing as i have schedules for tracks etc going there and i dont have anything in roots crontab so i decided il use that.
My PHP code (Shortened version) is:
if (isset($_POST['saveadconfig']))
{
shell_exec("crontab -r -u root");
}
To remove all cronjobs under roots name. Now, it works if i do this for put http for the user instead of root while logged in as root in ssh. But when i do this in php it doesnt work?
Any idea why?
