NAS streaming (solved)

Hey,
I just downloaded the Image for the raspberry pi 3, and it super nice!
but it seems to have a problam with connecting to my computer for streaming music.
When I trying to open the sourcs it say

Retrying with upper case share name mount error(6): No such device or address Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (e.g. man mount.cifs)

I tryed to set permissisions for sharing (Full Control) and it doesn't work.
I tryed differrent account (mine, administrator and guest) and it doesn't work...

Hi Ophirpeleg,

welcome to RuneAudio.

Retrying with upper case share name mount error(6): No such device or address Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (e.g. man mount.cifs)

This means, that Rune is unable to find the share.
In most cases it is a wrong entry in "Remote directory".
It has to be the name from your shared folder/directory.

To help you we need more information about your setup.
- used OS from which you like to share a folder
- your entries on the sources page (screenshot would be great)

Hi Ophirpeleg,

"E:/Music" is not the name of your share it is the complete path!
Use "Music" instead:

It works! but this folder is not on the main hard drive with the Windows... so how it know which hard drive do I mean ?

Because this folder is shared as "Music" and Windows is able to translate this name into the correct path.
You can this folder like you want e.g. "my-Music-on-WindowsPC-drive-E-blablabla" and it will find it.
