Hi irishwill2008,
first of all you should
resize your SD card (the image is made for 2GB cards and there is not much space left).
When installing gcc, i type: pacman -Syy to update the files database (sync) then i do: pacman -S gcc and hit Y to install.
pacman -Sy gcc
will update the database and install gcc.
people said to update my system using pacman -Syyu
And i say:
Never do this on RuneAudio, because it will break your installation.
If anyone can tell me how to fix this redis issue then thatl be great!
Start from the beginning and avoid to use "pacman -Syu"!
- install fresh image
- resize sd card
- setup your system
- make all your changes
- recover your files from the RP1
- install gcc
