Control runeaudio through shell/console for play scheduling?

gerardgerard

Is it possible to operate runeaudio through shell? My goal would be to use it as an alarm, so that I can make it play every morning starting at a scheduled hour.

Is it possible?

Hi gerardgerard,

the question is, is it possible to search the forum?

For example this thread looks like it is what you are searching.

Yes.
You can use "mpc" for that task.

mpc status
mpc play
mpc pause
mpc stop

I like to think I did search the forum (I always do that, we can say not very efficiently), but honestly I don't remember. So sorry for the redundancy and in any case thanks to reply
