Okay, so after much trying this morning I THINK I have RPi.GPIO installed. I am trying to simply mute/unmute a momentary push button on my rotary encoder. pause/play would work too. I even found some code that should work for me on another forum post:

However, I don't know where to save this file or what to do with it once it's there. Any reply at all would be greatly appreciated. PRETTY PLEASE.
