New drive not showing up???

Replaced the USB drive that held a copy of my music library after re-boot the old drive still shows in the UI and I can't see the new attached usb drive. Using the UI I go to 'sources' and I see /dev/sda1 and /dev/sda2 (two partitions of the old and now disconnected drive). I've gone the 'settings' > 'Features management' and I've turned off USB automount / Save settings then turned it back on, also tried rebooting still nothing.
Any info on how to resolve this issue?

Many views but no tips I guess my only option is to flash the card and start over.

Hi,

you shouldn't remove a attached usb storage device without unmounting it.
This can be done on the sources tab.

List of mounted USB drives. To safe unmount a drive, click on it and confirm at the dialog prompt.

You can try:
- disconnect all usb storage devices
- remove all entries from database

redis-cli del usbmounts

- delete all subdirectories in /mnt/MPD/USB/

rm -r /mnt/MPD/USB/*

- rebuild your library (sources page)
- attache new usb storage device
