EDIT: I'm running release version: 0.3 (build: beta-20141027). I added two webradio channels and they continue to show up / work even when the network mount disappears.
This is happening to me, too.
Pi 1 model B, Behringer ACA202 USB DAC (and no other USB devices), wired ethernet connection between the Pi and the server that has the SMB share containing my music. The share doesn't require authentication and is accessible to other devices without any dropping out.
When I first configure the network mount, it shows up in Library and MPD indexes it. I'm able to play from it. Quite often, however, (I've had Rune up for three days and this has happened 6-7 times) it drops the mount from the web interface even though it's still mounted. When I look at Library it shows I have a single network mount configured (that's correct). When I click on the 'Network Mounts' button, however, it doesn't show the mount. Yet, when I SSH to the Pi I'm able to browse the mount under /mnt/MPD/NAS/mymountedshare/.
A reboot doesn't solve the issue. /etc/mpd.conf shows the paths I expect. When I look at the mpd database directory, however, the database file is impossibly small (I've got at least 60,000 audio files on this share):
[root@runeaudio mpd]# ls -al
total 24
drwxr-xr-x 3 mpd audio 4096 Dec 31 1969 .
drwxr-xr-x 19 root root 4096 Aug 11 18:00 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 mpd audio 557 Aug 11 18:59 mpd.db
-rw-r--r-- 1 mpd audio 224 Aug 11 23:22 mpdstate
drwxr-xr-x 2 mpd audio 4096 Jul 19 2014 playlists
-rw-r--r-- 1 mpd audio 3072 Jul 28 2014 sticker.sql
I've looked at mpd.db previously and it's been some orders of magnitude bigger.
I've run the standard update on the web interface (git pull and clear cache) to no avail.
If I delete the mount and recreate it Rune starts indexing again, but without warning it'll lose the share again.
I've reimaged from scratch. I haven't made any custom settings except to turn off ffmpeg so the library update runs faster and to use my USB DAC rather than onboard audio.
Thanks in advance for any/all advice.
