Hi Pete,
PeteB wroteThis seems to work but only partly. In other words, navigating the screens and clicking on different fields works but not in all cases.
Your mouse should work the same way as it does on a remote browser.
You have to adapt the zoom factor to get the UI displayed correctly. (see /home/root/.config/midori/config)
PeteB wroteUsing tabs in a screen does not always advance to the next expected place.
Did you try this also on your remote browser?
It should behave the same way, so nothing changed with local browser.
PeteB wroteIs there something besides the mouse cursor that needs to be enabled/disabled to use the local browser this way,
You can disable the local css settings within midori.
(/root/.local/share/midori/styles/local-styles.css)
The local browser is nothing special beside:
- optimized for 800 x 480
- mouse cursor disabled
- hidden menu and address bar
- zoom factor
- local css tweaks
- URL points to localhost
