Hi Frank,
I am referring to the process Boyd laid out for enabling the AMP+ Hardware Volume Control. Is the process the same for the raspberry pi 3? I have followed the instructions about 6 times now, and I cannot get those debugger lines to match yours.
I have edited config.txt and removed the # before the appropriate line. This is a copy directly from my file:
# Uncomment one of these lines to enable an audio interface
#dtoverlay=hifiberry-dac
#dtoverlay=hifiberry-dacplus
#dtoverlay=hifiberry-digi
dtoverlay=hifiberry-amp
#dtoverlay=iqaudio-dac
#dtoverlay=iqaudio-dacplus
the return of
git stash
is:
Saved working directory and index state WIP on dev: e6f6474 sorting for saved playlists
HEAD is now at e6f6474 sorting for saved playlists
git pull
gives me:
Already up-to-date
then when I reboot and run the debugger to check settings all I get is:
audio_output {
name "snd_rpi_hifiberry_amp"
type "alsa"
device "hw:1,0"
auto_resample "no"
auto_format "no"
}
So I am failing to understand where I am going wrong. Like I said, I have tried this ENTIRE process, including grabbing fresh downloads just in case, about 6 times and this is what I am met with every time.
Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it.
