Hi, I was interested in the said wyred4sound dac, and brought along my pi with runeaudio 0.2 installed to the retailer, I connected the pi with the dac by USB, the screen of the dac appeared there was USB input detected, however no sound output. No matter I turned the dac on or off before I turn on the pi, no sound output by USB at all
Then, the retailer connected the pi using USB to a USB to hdmi (i2s) convertor,
http://www.odysseyaudiohk.com/eng/hydra-x.html, there was sound output finally, but with cracklings sound occasionally.... The sound quality was really great, just cracklings....
As I didn't buy the dac finally, I can't provide the debug information.
