Raspberry PI I2s out of sync left vs right sine wave output.

Hello .

I did some test with RuneAudio , Volumio on a RP-pi B and RP-pi 2 using a wolfson audio card and a Audiophonics DAC Sabre ES9023 and coaxial output SPDIF of the wolfson audio card to a external dac.

All tests give the same problem ... when I put a test tone of let say 1khz the right channel isn't in sync with the left channel.
I also tested RuneAudio on a RP-pi 2 using a usb external dac. and the signal was in sync.

So I'm guessing there is a bug on the I2S implementation for RP in general.

Anybody did similar tests ? maybe in other platforms...

Yes, i made several tests with various DACs (but not with Wolfson or Audiophonics).
All work fine on my RP B+ and RP2.

If you have problems with this please report here with these informations:
- device (RP, RP2, ODROID, ....)
- DAC brand / chip
- used driver
- type of measurement (by ear / scope)
