Hi,
i played a bit more with it and 8.0.3 is the newest version we can easily get to work with rune.
SSH to your device and enter these commands:
mkdir /usr/local/twonky/
cd /usr/local/twonky/
wget http://www.twonkyforum.com/downloads/8.0.3/twonky-kirkwood-8.0.3.zip
pacman -Sy unzip
unzip twonky-kirkwood-8.0.3.zip
chmod 700 twonky* cgi-bin/* plugins/*
mkdir /var/twonky
To start twonky use
/usr/local/twonky/twonky.sh start
To stop twonky use
/usr/local/twonky/twonky.sh stop
To get twonky started at boot we have to edit/generate this file:
/usr/lib/systemd/system/nginx.service
nano /usr/lib/systemd/system/nginx.service
[Unit]
Description=Twonky the Digital Media Server
After=network.target
[Service]
PIDFile=/var/run/mediaserver.pid
ExecStart=/usr/bin/sh /usr/local/twonky/twonky.sh start
ExecStop=/usr/bin/sh /usr/local/twonky/twonky.sh stop
Restart=always
RestartSec=1
StartLimitInterval=30
StartLimitBurst=20
[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target
To save it hit CTRL-x and then y.
Now we can test twonky with:
systemctl start twonky
and stop it with:
systemctl stop twonky
to start it at boot:
systemctl enable twonky
Hope this helps.
Frank
