The Heavy Metal thread

Midnight

Hi,

just wanted to start a first topic in this sub forum and as I'm listening to Heavy Metal right now you either have to recommend some good stuff here or burn in hell

Midnight

OK, let's start with my nick name

Midnight - Rip This Hell

A lot of Venom, a bit Motörhead and a full load of Heavy Metal

fuscitas

Van Canto, Korpiklaani and Avenged Sevenfold are pretty great as well =)

A Hill To Die Upon's "Holy Despair" has been getting a lot of play from me since its release

This is a great thread.

I personally like Cradle Of Filth . Linkin Park is still my favorite ever of all times. Great suggestions too. I'll surely listen to "Rip this hell" and "Holy Despair." too. Thanks for the recommendations.

I hope you're just messing with us beceause i'm not even sure if they qualify as metal. Not even sure of Metallica post Black Album tbh. Loving Ghost atm. Love Slayer too but they require really careful listening. Motorhead sounds more metal than a lot of self-proclaimed metal bands yet, Lemmy died calling his genre Rock n Roll. My top 5 favorite bands include:

Testament
Opeth
Megadeth
Ghost
Myrath
