I'm running a pi 2 with a usb drive full of flac music and a USB dac.
The volume of playback after disabling the volume control is still very low.
I hooked up my pc back to the same usb dac and it plays much louder.
I set it to 25% and it matches the Pi output. What am I missing???

Hi ktm,

you can increase the volume by using the command "alsamixer" on console.

SSH to your Pi or use a local keyboard and monitor.

Execute

alsamixer

select your USB dac (F6)
and change volume.

If you are not familiar with SSH read this for Windows or this for Linux/MacOS
The default login for RuneAudio is "root" with the password "rune" (without quotes).
