RuneAudio mounts your library as read-only, as it's only playing your music and not manipulating the library. That's what a music player
should do, in my opinion. In such a setup, scripting something that will make changes in your library is not possible.
Perhaps this is about to change, as there has been talks of adding an ID3-tag editor. There are also other ways of doing it, which could involve some logic to remove folders from the MPD database.
I would still recommend keeping the library tidy, then it will be easier for MPD to index it.
