I have been very pleased with my RPi3's in the house for the past number of months. I have one with hi-berry DAC Pro in my living room system for backround music, always set to Drible's JazzOn2 WWFM, just perfect to keep the house feeling good.
In my basement dedicated setup I have the Pi USB to either my Twisted Pear DAC with Amerano USB receiver
or my GeekPulse DAC. Both work flawlessly. Curiously the Amerano board is recognized in the MPD page but he GeekPulse shows up as "RaspberryPI HDMI out", but plays fine. I have a third DAC in the house for evaluation. It uses a IC-Media CM6631A chip which is well known and used by Shiit Audio in some of their DAC's. It works fine on my PC with JRiver, but it is not being recognized by the Pi3.
Any help would be much appreciated.
