my situation is a little bit different.

moode works also fine incl. hdmi output at pizero.
but volumio starts first with a sdram error (led blinking 8 times) - after a kernel-update on a working rpi B+ it works fine.
runeaudio doesn't start or boot - no activity on led.

in fact:
pi zero works
sdcard works
supply works
rune-img doesnt work - why? i tried all rpi1 images without success

Hmm.. I dont' have the B+ board to update kernel (only RPi2 and "old" RPi - beside the RPi Zero of course).
Tried to use the kernel from MoOde, but it didn't work (unless I've missed something during the process)

On the Volumio, indeed, the led is blinking (didn't knew what it means before - :oops: )

I've figured out how to fix Volumio (but not Rune, which is on Arch): put the card in older RPi1 and update kernel via:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install binutils
sudo rpi-update

Once finished, put the card into Pi0 and...voila! :)

maybe it's done

first successful boot on a rpi0.
same procedure as volumio, but only with different commands.

1. boot rune with a rpi1 (A or B/B+)
2. update/upgrade arch linux with
sudo pacman -Syy & sudo pacman -Su
3. update rune with
cd /var/www
git pull
curl -s -X GET 'http://localhost/clear'
4. reboot
5. put sdcard in rpi0 and boot

Great! Don't forget to put

arm_freq=1000
gpu_freq=300
core_freq=400
over_voltage=6
force_turbo=1

To config file to get it to the default speed of PiZero

I'm going to check your fix and try Rune :)
Thanks!

Has any one managed this successfully? I just tried and the pacman update broke the system (wouldn't boot afterwards)

I don't have one to test myself, but try this command instead after a re-install
Code: Select all
pacman -Sy --force raspberrypi-firmware-bootloader linux-raspberrypi
Raspberry Pi 2
IQaudIO PI-DAC+
HifimeDIY U2 Sabre ES9023
Sennheiser HD598SE

Finally got round to trying this ... unfortunately it doesn't work. Left again with an unbootable Pi :( .... just red power led showing.

Anyone know if there will be a dist for the zero in the near future (for those of us who have no pi1 to set it up)?
