yet another WiFi dongle problem
Posted: 30 Dec 2022, 04:37I'm new to RuneAudio (I've been using it for about 2 days). I've gotten almost everything setup but the WiFi isn't working.
I got the wired network working. Also, lsusb reports:
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0846:9052 NetGear, Inc. A6100 AC600 DB Wireless Adapter [Realtek RTL8811AU]
but, it's not listed by either ifconfig, or iwconfig
I've loaded the new 2022 firmware (along with its dependency 'whence'). Rebooted and it still doesn't list wlan0
Do I need to get another wireless adapter or is there a cheaper/easier solution? Thanks in advance.
