Hi

Would have been more than nice if you could get Cubietruck device on the list of supported devices.

It also has I2S up and running now for audio..: http://www.cubieforums.com/index.php?topic=1081.0

Cheers

Hi TBM, we tried to contact Cubietech multiple times but with no response. So we left it aside for a while, focusing on the other platforms.
Anyway it's a board that we'd love to support in the future.

I have a Cubietruck lying around. Would be nice if I could use it to run RuneAudio!

I don't know anything about the Arch Linux repository system, but I guess custom packages (e.g. recompiled mpd) can be installed via custom repositories. Just create a repository for different architectures (many boards share the same architecture) like armv7hf, armv5, i686, x86_64 and put in the recompiled packages. These custom repositories need to have an higher priority than the default repositories. The install script then just has to detect which architecture it is running on an chose the correct repo to add.

If custom kernels are needed (e.g. to add i2s audio support) it is a lot more complex because in opposite to packages each board needs an own kernel.

That's another thing we had in mind to do, we started to ourselves but at the end we hadn't the time to put it in practice.
Could you help us with that to speed up things?
