Hello,
Now I'd like to start to test your software but I need some indications about the best HW (if possible not the fost expensive if possible) for my application.
Heve you just tested all the HW boards indicated in your presentation?
I need:
- to play Hi res audio file 192Khz or more with asinc Usb interface like Xmos;
- the easyest configuration, I'm not an informatic fun;
- to connect wire lan and use an Android tablet as consolle;
- best possible audio quality
- linear or external psu

Thanks a lot for your help.
Ciao
Guglielmo

Hello Guglielmo, all our certified devices have LAN connection and use an external PSU, non-linear by default but it can be upgraded.
With RuneUI web interface you can control the player from every kind of device (desktop PC, laptop, tablet and smartphone), so your Android tablet does the job perfectly. RuneUI is also designed to be easy to use and you absolutely don't need to be an informatic to play music through it :)
If you want to play 24/192 or higher files, I suggest you to avoid Raspberry Pi, because it has some limits (low CPU power and shared USB-Ethernet bus) that make it impossible at the current status. CuBox should be a better solution for your needs.

Ciao!

Very cool. How long do you think it will be until non-raspbery pi builds will be available for download?

I can't tell you exactly, right now we are working on the BeagleBone Black and after that we will move on CuBox and UDOO.

OK then, do you have a rough time for the Beagle Bone Black? I am anxious to try this with it,

Hello lannick, CuBox and CuBox-i should be very similiar, so I think it would not be a problem to support it.
Currently we don't have any CuBox-i sample to hand, we need at least one to test it properly.

Hi alecm, as I wrote in other threads Cubox support will be included in the next 0.3-beta release, coming soon. For CuBox-i you'll have to wait more because we haven't put our hands on it yet.
