Android app has stopped working

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A4.

Until this week the Rune Audio app has worked without issues on this tablet. In now can't get the app to start and connect to my player.

All is OK from my phone, so it doesn't appear to be a player issue. I can also connect ok using a browser on the tablet so that would seem to rule out network issues.

All I get when starting the app is a black screen with an upside down androud logo in the top left corner.

The RuneAudio android app for remote control of the player is available on the Google Play Store. The latest version of the player software is available here - https://github.com/rern/rAudio-1

Hello, I installed Runeaudio on my Raspberry Pi 4B and the app on my new Samsung phone.
They connect good (after the adjustment mentioned on the Raspberry). So I set up some webradio's and they play ok.

But I can't see stop/play/next/previous keys on my phone; I do get them on the webinterface on my Windows PC.

Is there anything I can do to change that?
Peter

Hi there, I've got another problem with the app. After the phone dims its screeen and has been idle for some time, I get an error message about the WiFi:
RuneAudio Remote Control needs an active WiFi connection to scan the local network. If problems persist, check the official documentation.

But the WiFi is always available: mails come in all the time.
So whats happening and how to solve this?
Peter
